In the past I have worked on Problem Solving Algorithms (Depth First Search, Breadth First Search, A*, etc.), Neural Networks, Speech and Pattern Recognition, Genetic Algorithms and Word Sense Disambiguation. My current research focus is on Named Entity Recognition, Deep Learning and language-specific (agglutinative) BERT models.
Current focus of my academic research involves Knowledge Representation and Natural Language Understanding within the framework of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning and Cognitive Science. I'm interested in both the fundamental (computational, psychological, and linguistic) and applied aspects of these topics. I am also deeply interested in Free/Libre/Open Source Software Security, Deep Learning, Computational Theory of Mind, Data Mining and Big Data.
